When you spend many hours typing, it is not uncommon to experience pain in your fingers and wrists.
I’ve found that ergonomic keyboards work best for me, with a key arrangement that respects the natural angle of my arms and a slight bump in the middle that allows me to have my hands slightly tilted to the sides instead of flat.
Since i work a lot with databases, i prefer a separate numeric keypad, and while backlight is not a requirement, if it’s there it can be a plus.

This is my current daily driver, the Perixx Periboard-512 https://amzn.to/41r77YA. I like the higher profile of the keys, the bounciness of the tactile feedback and how easy it is to clean it up with a brush if crumbs or dust gather into it’s crevices. There’s no backlight in this one, but the media controls at the top are very useful when needing to adjust volume or mute mid call/meeting.
If you prefer a backlit keyboard, and less finger traveling, something like the Nulea keyboard https://amzn.to/4g9w67m might be better for you. It resembles more the experience of typing on a laptop, with it’s flatter keys, but still you get the benefits of better position.
